Level 2 EV Charger for Chevrolet Bolt EV

This Primecom 40A portable Level 2 charger features a SAE J1772 connector for direct Level 2 AC charging of compatible Chevrolet Bolt EV vehicles.

Simply plug the charger into your selected compatible 240V outlet and connect the charging handle directly to your Bolt EV. The charger can provide up to 40A / 9.6kW at 240V, while your vehicle automatically controls charging based on its onboard AC charging capability.

Connector compatibility: 2017–2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV vehicles use the SAE J1772 portion of their CCS1 charge port for Level 2 AC charging, so the Primecom J1772 charging handle connects directly without a vehicle-side adapter. GM now offers a separate NACS Level 2 adapter for owners who need to use compatible NACS AC charging equipment, but no adapter is required with this Primecom J1772 charger.

Chevrolet upgraded the Bolt EV to an 11.5kW onboard charging module for 2022. Chevrolet lists approximately 26 miles of range added per hour at 32A and 39 miles per hour at 48A on the 2022 Bolt EV. After doing a lot of research, I learned that Primecom.Tech is the only company that makes EV charging cables longer than 25 feet with the charging unit built into the cable. This is essential if like me, you have a situation where your EV can't be parked within 25 feet of the charging unit. Primecom.Tech has EV charging cables in 30, 40 and even 50 foot sizes. I learned that their products are very high-quality and that they are really knowledgeable and experienced.
