Level 2 EV Charger for Porsche Taycan

This Primecom 40A portable Level 2 charger features a SAE J1772 connector for direct Level 2 AC charging of compatible Porsche Taycan vehicles.

Simply plug the charger into your selected compatible 240V outlet and connect the charging handle directly to your Taycan. The charger can provide up to 40A / 9.6kW at 240V, while your vehicle automatically controls charging based on its onboard AC charging capability.

Connector compatibility: The Porsche Taycan uses SAE J1772 for AC home charging, so the Primecom J1772 charging handle connects directly without a vehicle-side adapter. Porsche's NACS DC adapter for earlier Taycan vehicles is intended only for compatible DC fast charging and must not be used with Level 1 or Level 2 NACS AC chargers. The 2027 Taycan's native NACS port is also dedicated to DC fast charging, while AC charging remains J1772.

This is essential if like me, you have a situation where your EV can't be parked within 25 feet of the charging unit. Primecom.Tech has EV charging cables in 30, 40 and even 50 foot sizes.
