The Primecom NEMA 10-30 EV Charger plugs directly into a compatible 240V / 30A dryer receptacle without requiring a NEMA 14-50 adapter. Because NEMA 10-30 receptacles are typically found in older electrical installations, customers should verify that the receptacle, wiring, circuit, and installation are suitable for EV charging before use.

Primecom offers this NEMA 10-30 dryer outlet EV charger with 30-foot, 40-foot, and 50-foot cord options.
Choose 30 FT when your EV parks close to the outlet, 40 FT for larger garages or side-by-side parking, or 50 FT when the dryer outlet is farther from the vehicle or the EV is parked in the driveway.
The longer cable options give you more flexibility without relying on a typical household extension cord.
 
Purpose-Built 24A Charging for a 30A Dryer Circuit
NEMA 10-30 dryer circuits are normally rated for 30 amps. Because EV charging is a continuous electrical load, this Primecom charger is designed for up to 24 amps of continuous charging.
At 240 volts and 24 amps, the charger can provide approximately 5.76kW of Level 2 charging power.
Unlike using a higher-amperage NEMA 14-50 charger with an additional plug adapter, the Primecom NEMA 10-30 model is configured specifically for the dryer-outlet application.
