How we estimate: Power ≈ Volts × Amps → 240 V × 24 A ≈ 5.76–5.8 kW. “Miles added per hour” multiplies EPA efficiency (mi/kWh) by ~5.8 kW. “Range Added (20–80%)” assumes charging 60% of usable battery. Actual results vary with temperature, speed, elevation, tires, and each vehicle’s onboard AC charger limit.
Need Faster Charging? Explore Our Other Primecom Chargers
The Primecom 24A NEMA 14-30 Level 2 EV Charger is designed for EV owners who want to charge from a compatible 4-prong 240V dryer outlet. It plugs directly into a NEMA 14-30 receptacle and provides up to 24 amps of continuous Level 2 charging, or approximately 5.76kW at 240 volts.
Because a NEMA 14-30 dryer circuit is normally rated for 30 amps, a 24A EV charger is appropriately sized for continuous EV charging. Primecom offers this charger with 30 FT, 40 FT, and 50 FT cord options, making it easier to reach vehicles parked farther from the dryer outlet.

Charge From the 240V Dryer Outlet You Already Have
Already have a compatible 4-prong NEMA 14-30 dryer outlet? You may already have the electrical source needed for Level 2 EV charging.
The Primecom NEMA 14-30 EV Charger plugs directly into a compatible 240V / 30A dryer receptacle without requiring a NEMA 14-50 adapter. For many homeowners, this can provide a convenient Level 2 charging solution without first installing another 240V outlet, provided the existing circuit, receptacle, and wiring are suitable for EV charging.

Choose 30 FT, 40 FT, or 50 FT of Charging Reach
Primecom offers this NEMA 14-30 dryer outlet EV charger with 30-foot, 40-foot, and 50-foot cord options.
Choose 30 FT when your EV parks close to the outlet, 40 FT for larger garages or side-by-side parking, or 50 FT when the dryer outlet is farther from the vehicle or the EV is parked in the driveway.
The longer cable options give you more flexibility without relying on a typical household extension cord.

Purpose-Built 24A Charging for a 30A Dryer Circuit
NEMA 14-30 dryer circuits are normally rated for 30 amps. Because EV charging is a continuous electrical load, this Primecom charger is designed for up to 24 amps of continuous charging.
At 240 volts and 24 amps, the charger can provide approximately 5.76kW of Level 2 charging power.
Unlike using a higher-amperage NEMA 14-50 charger with an additional plug adapter, the Primecom NEMA 14-30 model is configured specifically for the dryer-outlet application.
