I got the 40 AMP, 40 footer, NEMA 14/50. Great customer support. I called them twice last Saturday. They advised me re which charger to get for my needs/Kia EV6. A Tech picked up the phone immediately. On a Saturday!! . Shipment arrived in 2 days to San Diego, arriving just as electrician was finishing installation of 50 Amp circuit (6 gauge wire as recommended). Tried out the charger immediately. No problem. Now need to buy cable cover for sidewalk. I will be able to take this charger on road trips, hooking up where 220 Volts available. I have been charging at public stations for 5 years. No more waiting in line or dealing with out of order stations, Yea!!

Had several phone and text conversations with David who advised me on the steps necessary to customize the types of chargers, adapters and extension cords needed to safely charge my electric vehicle with the type of plugs I had available already in my home. He answered every call--even on Sunday--and several very lengthy texts. He rushed the last order to arrive in time for a Xmas trip.
He also advised me on how to set up my circuit breakers in the house and gave me language to use with the electrician. It saved me over $800 of electrician charges since I found I did not need to install a whole separate circuit, just update my circuit breaker for the 240 volt circuit I had already installed for my RV.
I have never had a better experience from an online order that turned into personal advice over the period of several days literally with one opening call.

The 30-foot PRIMECOMTECH 40A charger is my first 220V level 2 charger. I bought it at the same time as my first plug-in electric vehicle, a 2021 RAV4 PRIME SE. The amperage (40A) is overkill for the RAV4 PRIME which tops out at around 16.2A. Maybe in the future, I'll have a vehicle that can charge at a higher rate. The plastic housing and 30-foot cord seem sturdy. At 30-feet in length, I'm able to easily charge from my driveway without having to back the car in. At my car's max charge rate of 16A, nothing gets the slightest bit warm. I put 6-3 AWG wiring from my circuit breaker and a Hubbell HBL9450A receptacle. I have not used the PRIMECOMTECH built-in time delay function for two reasons. First, the RAV4 has its own programmable charging schedule. Second, I'm not on a time of use electric meter. My 2021 RAV4 PRIME SE charges fully in around 4.5 hours at its maximum charge 3.3kW rate (compared to 12 hours on level 1). The display on the PRIMECOMTECH charger is always on and I wonder if it will burn out at some point. If I could ask for one feature it would be for the charger to go into a sleep state when not plugged in where the screen shuts off. Installation was easy with the included mounts. I used special masonry screws instead of the included hardware. I give it an A+ and would definitely recommend it to others. It's super easy to use and plug-and-play. I didn't need wireless capability or other bells and whistles. Customer service was top-notch with regular communication with David. Enjoy!

Using it to charge a 2022 Chevy Bolt. Have only charged the Bolt once with it, and it charged from 30% to 85% in approx 5 hours. I like the heavy-duty feel of all of the components, and the data display while charging is informative and fun. So far, seems to be a quality product.

This charger is very well made--better than the Nissan-branded one that came with our Leaf--and fully weather-proof, whereas the other includes instructions not to expose it to the sun, water, or wind(?). The 40-foot cable means we can park in several places and still reach the car easily (versus the 18-foot reach of the original). The cable is very supple but also tough--I expect it to last a long, long time.

I purchased the PRIMECOMTECH Level-2 Electric Vehicle Charger 220 Volt 40 foot cord., because I did not want to wait 40 hours to charge approximately 20%!
My wife was a little apprehensive when she saw the Charger's control display: "Waiting for car signal".
She asked me and I tried to explain to her, that the charger's timing and rate, was controlled by the car's computer and that it controlled the time to charge, the rate etc. She did not understand, why it said what it did. I told her the display was letting her know what the charger was doing at the time.
Then in simpler terms the charger was waiting for the car to open its mouth and say: "feed me", at the time I had programmed the car to be fed.
So, she called Prime Tech, to see if I was right or in error.. She was basically told the same thing, about the Charger and the display indications.
She had another question about a flashing Green Light when the car wasn't plugged in, as did many on the net. So, she called the Kia dealer to find out about the light. They didn't know! They referred her to Kia USA. However, in the meantime, since it was now night; she got the Owner's Manual out and Wallah! She found it in the charging section, along with a graph! The flashing Green Light, was to indicate the car was charging the car's 12 Volt auxiliary battery, which powers the computer's control system!, lights, radio, GPS, etc

I have been using the Primecom.Tech 40A, 30' charging cable for 2 weeks and I am please with the product. I use it to charge a 2021 Toyota Rav4 Prime and 2018 Tesla Model 3 (with Tesla adapter). The communication between the cable and the car has been accurate: the Tesla automatically changed from a 32A max to a 40A max charge when it detected the cable. I especially like the Primecom.Tech display showing actual kWh used during a charge since I track this.
The Primecom.Tech cable costs more than the average non-WIFI enabled Level 2 charge cable, but it plugs/unplugs from both vehicles firmly without undue force. I also like how the actual kWh resets each time the cable is disconnected, instead of accumulating like other cables. The temperature display is shown in degrees F (others cannot be set to this).

I now have three chargers. The first one I bought more than 2 years ago because it was the only company offering 40-50 cables. It worked flawlessly until shoddy electrician installation of the plug short circuited and melted the 14-50 plug. So I ordered 2 more. Now I have one at work and one at home. Both our cars are electric, so the chargers are used everyday. The installation is outdoors, so very impressed by the ruggedness of the device also. Highly recommend to anyone. I was not interested in rebates, but SCE told me the brand is not approved for rebates.

I've only had it a week, and only used it twice. But it's much lighter weight than my previous 25' cable (and mine is 40') and easier to manage. I live in a condo and have a long run from my 14-50r to the car. This makes life much easier for me. If I had one complaint, it doesn't have a "pull ring" on the receptacle end. My previous one made it really easy to pull out of the receptacle and this one is kind of difficult to get a grip on, particularly if the receptacle is hooded (like mine.)

I got the 50 foot, I love the fact that I can charge it up in my driveway or on the street, I have the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon EV
when completely discharge this Item charges it up in 2 1/2 hours but in most case less than an hour when only 1/2 way discharged . I also like the fact I do not need to leave it connected all night like a 120 volt charger, The quality seem to be good. If your not sure how long your should get always spend a little bit more and go for the longer one well worth it.

I've had this charger for a little over a week. So far it's great! I live in a condo with no garage, and I have not yet installed my own exterior EV charger. There is a 220v 14-50 outlet on the exterior of my building that I plug the Primecom charger w/ 40' cable into. The parking area is about 30' from the building. This is the only charger that has has a cable long enough. I did not want to use an extension cord. I had purchased the Tesla Mobile Connector, but returned it once I got the Primecom. Its is much larger and more robust than the Tesla. Being able to adjust amps is a nice feature. So far this seems like an excellent product.
